Prosob Content Camp is a 4-month experiential program and network to support young media practitioners or aspiring content creators to gain experience in creating social and civic engagement-related content, creating meaningful connections with audiences, and increasing the visibility of their work.

Disclaimer: This program is a content creation training camp based in Phnom Penh under a camping concept, not an actual camping trip~.

Application Criteria

Cambodian young media practitioners or aspiring content creators​​ who are ready to take the challenge of creatively curating meaningful social and civic content for your audiences.

  • has basic to intermediate content creation knowledge & skills 

  • the early stage of platform/channel creation (already have a page/channel)

  • motivated and passionate about creating content for social and civic engagement-related topics

  • motivated and passionate about creative collaboration and ready for the content camp challenge!

Prosob Content Camp takes your media production journey through 3 rounds of challenges related to social or civic engagement topics.

Along with creator’s fund support of USD 1,180 (Gross), explore new content ideas and formats throughout the program with the training and support from mentors focused in the field of:

  • Photography & Vlogging

  • Visual infographics and illustrations

  • Content strategy & writing

  • Media information literacy

  • and more!

Distribution/Featuring support: To amplify your content's message, we will publish them on Prosob Community social media platform alongside your personal platform with all credits belonging to you​.

  • Receive support in creativity, and well-being as well as financial creator’s funds USD 1,180 (Gross) to produce your content .

    Connect and be supported by expert content creators to produce different formats and make use of your platform with your community.

  • Get 3 rounds of the Camp Challenge; We call it the sprint challenge ;) to create 30 pieces of content related to social or civic engagement topics.

  • We would like to have content produced under this program be the content for the public interest. Hence content will be the co-owned that involving parties (including you) may distribute, repackage and for portfolio purposes.

    For the organising team of Prosob Content Camp, we would like to distribute your works to amplify the meaningful message of your content to the public audiences, display in related events, and reporting purposes with your consent. We will credit you as the owner and the creator of all the work.

  • No, this program is free of charge to sign up to be a participant.

    On the other hand, not only will you receive training and mentorship on content creation, you will also receive a creator’s support fund of USD 1,180 (Gross) for participating and contributing in the creation of social and civic engagement content!

  • You do not need a team to apply for this program. However, it would be nice if you apply as a team of two (max).

    When applying as an individual, there is a possibility that they will be matched with a fellow individual to pair and collaborate during the program journey.
